Staying at the AC Hotel Washington DC Capitol Hill Navy Yard was a lesson in modern urban luxury. The bathroom was equally impressive with a spacious walk-in shower and bright lighting. Beyond the room, the lobby offered stylish seating areas that felt more like a high-end living room. The absolute highlight, however, was stepping out to see the Washington Monument and the US flag waving against a dramatic sunset, reminding me just how close I was to the heart of the capital.
