My stay at The Tiing Tejakula Villas was a masterclass in industrial luxury. Located on the quiet northern coast of Bali, this property stands out with its bold brutalist architecture that somehow blends perfectly with the tropical surroundings. The highlight for me was the private pool villa. The design uses massive concrete walls to funnel your view directly towards the ocean, creating a sense of tunnel vision where all you see is nature. I started my mornings with a floating breakfast right in the pool, watching the sunrise hit the grey textures of the walls. The interior is just as striking, with warm wood accents softening the raw concrete, and a bed that faces the view. It feels incredibly private and moody, especially in the evenings. If you are a design lover or just need a romantic escape away from the busy parts of Bali, this place is an absolute gem.
