Lagoon-style pool that actually feels like a resort
100m walk to the beach and Cavill Avenue action
Studios with kitchenettes save money on dining out
Snabb Överblick: A fading 90s icon that relies heavily on its killer location and pool to distract you from the worn carpets and dated bathrooms.
Recenserat av @blackgermantraveler: We stayed at Mantra Legends and it was a solid 10/10! The room was huge, and having a kitchen to cook meals saved us so much money. I loved the ocean views from the balcony and being just a short walk from the beach. Definitely recommend for a Gold Coast trip!

The hype
Great location and pool, but the rooms are tired and housekeeping is hit-or-miss.
Reality check
The 'ocean view' is often a 'partial slice of blue between buildings' unless you are on a very high floor.
You prioritize pool time and beach access over room luxury
You need a kitchenette to cook simple meals (Studio rooms)
You are attending a conference at the nearby center and just need a bed
Renlighet & Underhåll
6.5
Housekeeping: Inconsistent. Many reports of missed spots, dusty surfaces, and balconies left uncleaned.
Bathroom hygiene: Major weak point. Watch for mold in grout, peeling sealant, and hair in drains.
Maintenance: Aging property. Peeling paint, worn carpets, and 'tired' furniture are common complaints.
Linens & towels: Functional but not luxe. Some reports of 'KMart quality' sheets and thin towels.
Odors & scents: Frequent mentions of musty/damp smells in rooms and hallways.
