Yes. While there are lifts, you often have to take one, walk a bit, then take another. It's a vertical resort.

The main infinity pool gets packed at sunset (5-6pm). Go mid-morning or late evening for a chill swim.
Are there monkeys?
Not usually in the rooms, but you will see them on the 'Monkey Trail' to Pai Plong beach nearby. Keep balcony doors locked just in case.
