Is the beach good for swimming?
It's great for snorkeling but tricky for casual swimming due to rocks and coral. You need water shoes. It is not a wide, sandy swimming beach.

Can I walk to local restaurants?
No. You are in a gated estate. You'll need a taxi to get to Grand Baie (20 mins) or Port Louis (25 mins) for outside dining.
