Is the golf cart really necessary?
Yes. The resort is massive. Without one, you are at the mercy of the internal bus loops which can add 30-45 mins to your travel time.
Are the cabins brand new?
Yes. The old log cabins are being replaced by modern DVC units (completed mid-2024 to 2025). They are cleaner, brighter, and have more storage.
Can I fit 6 adults comfortably?
Technically yes, but it's tight. The living room Murphy bed is comfy, but with one bathroom, 6 adults is a logistical nightmare.
Is there a pool slide?
Yes, the main Meadow Swimmin' Pool has a corkscrew slide and a splash pad. The Wilderness Pool is the quiet one.
How bad is the construction?
It's active. You will see equipment and hear beeping/engines early in the morning if you are near the work zones.
Is Trail's End still a buffet?
No. It is now a 'marketplace' with grab-and-go food only. The buffet is dead.
