@keishaapproved 的视频导览:I flew down for just 24 hours to escape the cold and it saved my sanity. This resort was the perfect home base—chill vibes, right on the beach, and super solo-friendly. Honestly, baking in the sun for 3 hours revived my soul. 10/10 would do it again.

Escaping the winter blues, I took a spontaneous 24-hour solo trip from Philadelphia to Fort Lauderdale to combat seasonal depression. As a busy millennial, I didn't have much time, but I made every second count at B Ocean Resort. After a quick 3-hour flight, I arrived at the resort by 10:30 AM. Since my room wasn't ready, I utilized the luggage storage and headed straight to the beach, spending hours soaking up the sun to revive my soul. The vibe here is perfect if you want the Florida sun without the high-energy chaos of Miami—it's chill, relaxing, and unpretentious. I stayed in a room with a beautiful balcony view and a massive king-sized bed that felt like a dream. For dinner, I found a gem called Earls Kitchen + Bar, where I enjoyed a solo happy hour with great drinks and food. The evening walk back was peaceful and safe, reinforcing why this area is great for solo female travelers. I wrapped up the trip with a refreshing morning by the resort pool before heading home, proving that even a short 24-hour reset is enough to recharge your mental health.

I was away for 24 hours just to get some sun is a great use of free will. And I'm gonna do it again because Who gonna check me boo? Okay, and as the designer of my life, I said I need to get out of here because this seasonal depression with all of this cold weather and snow was driving me crazy, okay? She got hands and she fighting me real hard. So as a busy millennial, I highly recommend this because what I didn’t have was a lot of time, but what I did have was at least 24 hours. So I flew from PHL airport down to Fort Lauderdale, it was less than 3 hours. It was such a quick trip. So I landed at about 9 something and then I got to my resort about 10:30. I went straight to the resort and changed my clothes, of course my room wasn’t ready yet, but that did not stop me, okay? I said I’m going straight to the beach. They watched my luggage for me and I laid out in that sun y’all for like 3 or 4 hours. I was baking like a crisp. You hear me? And in this moment, I just knew it was all worth it because sitting out in the sun was reviving my whole soul. I got to my room, I booked a balcony view. It was so pretty. And this was a solo trip so after sitting out in the sun for hours, I said let me go explore, find me a little drinky drink and see what Fort Lauderdale has to offer. And if you are more of a chill relax vibe girly, I definitely recommend going down here because it is like Miami but more chill. Like less less frills, less fluff and it was just a lot more relaxation. So I looked up some reviews and I found Earls Kitchen + Bar and it was really pretty in there y’all. This was a really nice restaurant. I’ve never been here before, but they did have a happy hour and I was like okay yes to the discounts and yes to some good food and drinks and it was a vibe just sitting at the bar by myself. Then I just did some evening walking around and exploring and y’all this was just even reviving my soul even more because just solo time to myself, getting the good air, weather, the beautiful scenery and then coming back to a nice king size bed, I was in love. So then I woke up refreshed and revived and beautiful. This is TV. So like no after I cleaned the crust out my eyes, I was like let me get up and enjoy my last couple of hours of sunshine. So this time I decided to relax by the pool and this resort is so beautiful y’all. I will do a whole recap on it. This is my second time staying here, but I highly recommend and it wasn’t even that expensive. I found it on Expedia. So about 10 o'clock wrapping up my
