Réservez si You want a self-contained royal fantasy with private plunge pools and zero desire to battle Jaipur traffic daily.

Pourquoi les gens l'adorent

  • The 'Mohan Mahal' restaurant lit only by candles and 350,000 mirrors
  • Villas with private temperature-controlled plunge pools
  • Stunning Aravalli hill views that feel miles away from the city chaos

En bref : A spectacular modern palace that feels like a movie set, but you're stranded in an industrial suburb 45 minutes from the actual Pink City.

Évalué par @caoilfhionnroseI felt like a queen from the moment I arrived. My mornings started with tea in the quiet gardens, and the pool view through those arches is even better in person. If you need a total luxury reset away from the chaos, this is the place.

Ce que les clients qui ont séjourné ici ont dit

The hype

Guests feel like royalty thanks to the flower-shower welcomes and opulent decor, but many are frustrated by the isolation and slow service during peak wedding dates.

Reality check

The 'palace' is a new build (2021), so while it looks ancient and majestic, you might spot modern wear-and-tear or 'veneer' issues that don't plague the actual heritage hotels.

  • You plan to stay on the property and relax for 2-3 days
  • You want a private pool villa without paying Maldives prices
  • You are visiting specifically for Amer Fort (it's much closer than the city)

Propreté et entretien

9.2
  • Housekeeping: Generally impeccable twice-daily service. Turndown includes thoughtful touches like pillow mists.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Spotless marble. No grout issues reported. Water pressure is excellent.
  • Maintenance: The property is new (2021), so everything works. Rare complaints about AC noise.
  • Linens & towels: Premium Egyptian cotton, high thread count. Towels are plush and abundant.
  • Odors & scents: Lobby smells of signature 'Tishya' fragrance (lotus/lily). No musty carpet smells.

Avant de réserver

Bon à savoir

  • Breakfast is expensive (~INR 1200++) if not included in your rate — book a package.
  • The hotel is strictly non-smoking in rooms; designated areas only.
  • Gala dinners on Xmas and NYE are mandatory and cost upwards of INR 17,000 per person.

Quoi emporter

  • Earplugs (essential during wedding season)
  • Swimsuit (only if booking a private pool villa or visiting Mar-Oct)
  • Warm layers for evenings (Kukas gets colder than the city at night)

Génie des chambres

Meilleurs choix

  • Royal Villa with Plunge Pool (worth the upgrade for privacy and the heated dip)
  • Grand Villa with Terrace (panoramic Aravalli views, very quiet)

Chambres à éviter

  • Palace Wing rooms facing the 'Vikramaditya' or 'Sunderban' lawns during wedding dates (direct noise hit)
  • Ground floor rooms near the lobby (high foot traffic)

Génie de demande de chambre – copier & coller

I am traveling for relaxation and am very sensitive to noise. Please assign a room in a block furthest from the banquet lawns and wedding venues. If possible, I would prefer a higher floor facing the Aravalli hills rather than the internal courtyard.

FAQ et astuces cachées

Tout ce que vous voulez vraiment savoir avant de réserver.

Is the pool heated?

The main outdoor pool is NOT heated and is freezing in winter. Only the private plunge pools in the Villas are temperature-controlled.

How far is the city center?

Far. It's a 45-60 minute drive to Hawa Mahal or City Palace depending on traffic. You are not in Jaipur city; you are in Kukas.

Can I get an Uber easily?

Getting *to* the hotel is easy. Getting *back* to the city is hard; drivers often cancel or demand extra cash. Rely on hotel cars or pre-booked taxis.

Is it good for kids?

Yes, there is a dedicated kids' club, activity center, and the property is enclosed and safe. But the unheated pool in winter is a letdown for families.

What is the 'Mohan Mahal' restaurant?

It's their signature dining experience inspired by the Sheesh Mahal. No electric lights—just candles and mirrors. Expensive (~INR 10,000 for two) but unforgettable.

Are there hidden fees?

No resort fee, but taxes are 12-18%. The 'Gala Dinner' on Dec 24/31 is a mandatory, steep extra charge.

Conseils d'initiés

  • The 'Evening Ritual' with folk music and dance at the courtyard is free and happens daily at sunset — don't miss it.

  • Ask for a 'palace tour' — staff will walk you through the art installations and history of the design (even though it's new).

  • Bicycles are free to borrow to ride around the hotel grounds.

5 choses à savoir avant de partir

  • 💡The 'Palace' was built in 2021 — it's a modern concrete structure clad in heritage style, not an ancient fort.

  • 💡You can hear the highway noise from the 'cheaper' rooms near the entrance.

  • 💡The spa (ESPA) is world-class but costs London prices (INR 9,000+ for a massage).

  • 💡Room service Indian food is often better and hotter than the buffet.

  • 💡The bathroom amenities are 'Tishya by The Leela' and smell incredible (Kumud & Nilgiri).
