My winter getaway to Edgewood Tahoe Resort was the definition of indulgent escapism. From the moment I drove through the snowy pines, the tone was set for a cozy, upscale retreat. The lobby is massive with incredible high ceilings that make you feel tiny in the best way. I loved that they had snowmobiles ready to go right outside, but my favorite part was just relaxing. The outdoor patio has these amazing fire pits where I sat and watched the sunset over the lake—it was freezing out but the fire kept me toasty. The restaurant also offers insane panoramic views, so you never miss that winter wonderland scenery. It’s the perfect spot if you want that luxury lodge feeling without sacrificing comfort.
