Video-Tour von @theluxurylowdown: I used Hyatt points to book this $800/night hotel and it was incredible. My favorite part was sipping wine by our private balcony fire pit overlooking the vineyards. Plus, we saved over $1,000 on tastings just by staying here! Definitely a 10/10 redemption.

Here is my review of my recent stay at the Alila Napa Valley. This hotel cost us 40,000 Hyatt points that was split between four people so 10,000 points each. Otherwise, rooms start at almost $800 a night. For check in, it went smoothly and there was no issues. I also love that they offered us a splash of sparkling wine when we got there. Our room wasn't quite ready yet which was fine since we were planning to do some wine tastings anyway so we left all our luggage there. Once we were finally able to check into our room, it was a solid ten out of ten. My favorite parts were definitely the balcony overlooking the vineyard, the fire pit, and having the water closet separate from the bathroom. The property itself is on the smaller side which was fine since there wasn't really anyone there when we stayed. I actually was hoping to see a little more people but we went during the end of April so it wasn't exactly high season yet. The pool area was nice and relaxing but I wish they had a jacuzzi especially if you wanted to come back in the colder months. The gym was a decent size and had all your typical strength training and cardio equipment. My favorite amenity is this amazing free shuttle that they have for guests. It's first come first serve but they could drop you off or pick you up within a six mile radius which is pretty generous. The best benefit of staying here is the handful of free wine tastings that you could choose from. If you haven't been following my other reels, my friends and I literally saved over a thousand dollars in wine tastings just from staying at the Alila. In terms of suite upgrades we originally booked a two queen vineyard view with a balcony and that's what we got. So unfortunately we did not receive any upgrade. For the Globalist breakfast it was held at the Violetto Restaurant. It was a la carte menu where we could choose two beverages, two entrees, and two sides complimentary. We ended up ordering two large french presses, three entrees and three sides and they were nice enough to comp everything for us. In regards to late checkout we got to utilize the 4pm checkout which worked well for us since we got to hang out by the pool during the morning and have wine tastings in the early afternoon. Overall, the Alila Napa Valley was a fantastic stay and definitely a worthwhile redemption especially if you have someone to split the points with. I will definitely be back.
