Join me for an unforgettable first day in Athens, starting with a coffee at a local cafe before checking into the Brown Acropol Hotel. This spot is a total vibe—think vintage 60s decor, vinyl players in the room, and the friendliest staff ever (shoutout to Steve for the champagne and room upgrade!). I explored the rooftop terrace, which features amazing jacuzzis and a stunning view of the city and Acropolis. Although there's a gym, I was too busy relaxing! For the evening, I headed to Tekila for some delicious Mexican food—nachos and burritos are a must. Finally, I experienced the wild energy of Athens nightlife at a Bouzoukia club, Omega Stage, where the live music and light show were absolutely off the hook. A perfect itinerary for a solo traveler or anyone looking for a mix of relaxation and fun.

Hi everyone, day one trip around Athens. First I perched myself at this really cute cafe to find a hotel to stay at. I found this really cute hotel called Brown Acropol, which is obviously near the Acropolis, and it actually had a really good rate, and the staff were just so friendly and so lovely. This is Steve. He gave me some bubbly on arrival and they actually upgraded my room from a Queen to a King size. And the whole hotel is like vintage 60s vibes, it's so cute. I had a little vinyl player, cute little memos around the rooms. And then there's an amazing view from the balcony as well, as well as some little jacuzzis to enjoy which I thought was so cool. There was also a gym which I genuinely didn't have a moment to use, but I still thought it was super handy. There's nice little artwork all around the hotel as well and it's just got such a cute feel. I had a little nap and then got ready for dinner. Then I took myself for dinner at this amazing Mexican restaurant called Tekila. The food and decor was so good, it had such a warm vibe, and I had some nachos and of course a burrito. And now I'm walking to Bouzoukia, which guys, I've literally been in Greece three years and I've never been to Bouzoukia, it's actually wild. The talent was just amazing, like the singers were so incredible. And honestly, whoever the technician is in this club needs a serious raise because the vibes were off the hook. I honestly had such a great first day in Athens and I'd highly recommend. Follow to see what I did on day two.
