The hype
Travelers love the modern, spotless rooms and the unbeatable convenience for gigs, but often find the bar service slow and the location isolating on non-event days.
Book this if You have a ticket for a show at P&J Live or an early flight from ABZ and refuse to stay in a sad, beige airport motel.
Quick Take: It's the coolest hotel in the area, but you are effectively stranded in an event complex car park 20 minutes from the actual city center.
Reviewed by @scotland_sidebyside_: We brought the dachshunds here and were blown away. They didn't just tolerate the dogs; they spoiled them with a custom menu and welcome beds. The runway views were such a cool bonus, and the vibe is super modern and relaxed. 10/10 for pet parents.

Internal noise is the biggest gripe—heavy fire doors slam loudly, and some guests report a 'gap' under the door that lets hallway chatter drift in.
“I'm staying for [Event Name/Flight]. Could I please request a top-floor Urban King room, ideally away from the elevator bank? I'm a light sleeper and would appreciate a room not connecting to another.”
Everything you actually want to know before you book.
No. Do not be fooled by the 'resort' look of the complex. There is no pool.
About 4-5 miles. It takes 20-30 minutes by bus (No. 727) or 15-20 minutes by taxi.
No. Parking costs ~£15 per day in the on-site lot.
Technically yes (it's about a mile), but with luggage, it's not a fun walk. Take the 727 bus or a quick taxi.
Yes, very. Dogs are welcome (often free, sometimes a £15 fee applies depending on booking) and get treats/beds.
Besides the hotel bar, there's a Hilton next door, or a 10-minute walk to The Craighaar Hotel for traditional food. Dyce Tandoori is a short drive away.
Walk 10 minutes to 'The Craighaar Hotel' for a much better, traditional Scottish breakfast (try the kippers) or dinner than the Aloft offers.
The 'Re:fuel' grab-and-go station is open 24/7, which is a lifesaver when you get back from a concert at 11 PM and everything else is closed.
Ask for a room on the 'quiet side' facing away from the main TECA plaza if there's a rowdy event on.
