Why People Love It

7.9606 reviews
  • Steps from the Metromover for easy, free transport
  • Rooftop pool deck with killer city skyline views at night
  • Mosaico Kitchen + Bar actually serves excellent food (not just 'hotel food')

Quick Take: A sharp, modern business hotel that suffers from the relentless construction noise of its booming neighborhood.

Reviewed by @Arjayricafort949I stayed in Room 1406 with my family and the night view of the Brickell skyline was absolutely insane. The room was super comfy with two queen beds, and the bathroom aesthetic was totally on point. Loved the lobby vibe too—definitely a cool spot to base yourself in Miami.

The hype

Travelers love the modern design and walkable location but are divided on the noise levels.

Reality check

The 'city view' often means a view of another high-rise or a construction crane.

  • You're in town for business and need to be near the financial hub
  • You're a cruiser looking for a chic pre-voyage stay near the port
  • You travel with a dog and need a genuinely pet-welcoming vibe

Cleanliness & Maintenance

8.5
  • Housekeeping: Generally reliable daily service, though some guests report missed crumbs or dust in corners.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Bathrooms are modern and usually sparkling; rare complaints about slow drains.
  • Maintenance: Newer property (opened ~2021), so fixtures are in good shape; occasional elevator glitches.
  • Linens & towels: Crisp, white, and standard IHG quality; no major complaints of wear.
  • Odors & scents: Lobby smells fresh and expensive; rooms are generally neutral, though humidity can sometimes cause a faint mustiness.

Before you book

Good to know

  • The Metromover station (Brickell) is literally steps away and free
  • A $100 security deposit is held on your card at check-in
  • Breakfast is à la carte and not included in standard rates

What to pack

  • Earplugs or a white noise machine
  • Bathing suit for the rooftop pool (even if just for a photo)
  • Walking shoes—Brickell is very walkable

Room Genie

Best picks

  • Corner King rooms (ending in 14) for less hallway noise and more light
  • Pool view rooms (6th floor and up) to avoid staring at a concrete wall

Rooms to avoid

  • Rooms near the elevator (often ending in 05) due to mechanical noise
  • Lower floors facing the Metromover tracks

Room Request Genie – copy & paste

I would appreciate a Corner King room on a high floor, specifically away from the Metromover tracks and elevators, to minimize noise.

FAQ & Hidden tips

Everything you actually want to know before you book.

Is there a resort fee?

No explicit resort fee reported, but watch out for the $100 security deposit and high parking/pet fees.

Is the pool heated?

Yes, the outdoor pool is heated, but sun exposure is limited by surrounding skyscrapers.

How far is South Beach?

About a 15-20 minute Uber ride, depending on Miami traffic (which is notoriously bad).

Can I walk to restaurants?

Absolutely. Mary Brickell Village and Brickell City Centre are within a 5-10 minute walk.

Is parking included?

No, it's valet only for approximately $40 per night with in/out privileges.

Is it good for families?

It's okay, but rooms are on the smaller side and the vibe is definitely more adult/business.

  • Use the free Metromover to get to Bayside Marketplace instead of Ubering.

  • The gym on the 6th floor has a surprisingly good view of the pool and city.

5 things to know before you go

  • 💡The 'City View' might just be a direct line of sight into an office building across the street.

  • 💡Housekeeping can be hit-or-miss; check under the bed for missed items.

  • 💡The elevators can be slow during morning rush hour.

  • 💡The lobby bar makes surprisingly good craft cocktails.

  • 💡You can hear the Metromover 'whoosh' from many rooms—it's rhythmic but audible.
