Roomer

Visite vidéo par @rockmydeejay : I felt like royalty staying in this historic castle. The architecture is mind-blowing, and our room actually had two bathrooms—never seen that before! Even with the rain, the views of Parliament and the fall colors were pure magic. 10/10 would recommend for a special occasion.

This is a total mashup of French Renaissance vibes and those neo-gothic parliament buildings vertical lines. Booked two rooms both with two double beds but guess what? Out of all the Fairmont joints I've crashed at, this is the only one that hooked us up with not one but two bathrooms. It's the first time I've seen that kind of setup, crazy. The other room was pretty much the same vibe but our spot had a sick view. The canal, the parliament and the leaves falling like nature's confetti. It was straight up stunning. We decided to check out the hotel's amenity. We hit up their pool and their health club and while we were cruising we couldn't help but notice the hotel's interior. That fancy ceiling game and they even had their own art gallery in the hallway, fancy stuff. The old school charm and those castle-like details make you feel like you're in a real life fairytale. We also did a lap around the hotel's exterior. As we stepped out of the hotel we noticed some history vibes on the wall. You can straight up read all about it while checking out the Rideau Canal views. It's like getting a double dose of knowledge with a side of epic scenery. But the rain was relentless. I mean rain is no biggie, we're from Vancouver so we're used to that wet life. But we decided to bounce back to our room. And guess what, they hooked us up with a birthday surprise. Plus I managed to snag a peek of that sunset sneakily peeking behind that parliament. The next morning the skies cleared up and the sun finally showed up. We hit up the pool for a morning dip and took a spin around the area before checking out. Thanks Fairmont Chateau Laurier for the sweet experience. See you around.
