This is my routine a day before a marathon. My check list for a good marathon is ✔️ Hotel, I always make sure to stay in a good hotel, preferably with a gym, pool, and jacuzzi. ✔️ exercising, I don’t like to do much day the before a marathon, I like swimming, running a bit (3-5km), and do some stretching. ✔️ Food, I don’t eat anything that I haven’t eaten before. Just to make sure that I will not have any issues in the next day 🚽 ✔️ Sleep, I always make sure to sleep well on Saturday. Usually it’s hard to rest as I should to on the marathon night. ✔️ Hydration, it’s essential. Please, don’t forget to keep hydrated before, during, and after the marathon. It’s essential for your body, and your race. I want to thanks @westinlombard for the wonderful staying. I’m so grateful for all the amazing treats they gave to me, and to my daughter. The hotel is amazing, with a huge swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gym. It’s nearby the shopping mall, restaurants. They also have shuttles to take us to the places that we needed to. And also to the train station to Chicago Downtown- 40 min by train.
