Roomer

Riad Alkemia en exclusivité

$900-1,500 total/night (approx. $60-100 per person)/ notte

Prenota se You are a group of 8-15 friends or family who want a private palace in the Medina without fighting over restaurant bills.

Perché piace così tanto

  • You rent the ENTIRE riad—no strangers, just your crew
  • Bouchra's home-cooked meals consistently beat top Marrakesh restaurants
  • Dead silent sanctuary despite being 10 minutes from the chaotic Jemaa el-Fna

In sintesi: It's not a hotel, it's a private mansion with hotel-grade staff—so if you want room service at 3 AM, this isn't it.

Recensito da @riadloversI felt like I was living in a design magazine here. The rooftop terrace was my absolute favorite spot for sunset drinks, and having that private plunge pool to cool off after exploring the Medina was a lifesaver.

Cosa hanno detto gli ospiti che hanno soggiornato qui

The hype

Reviewers universally worship the staff (Khalid and Bouchra) and describe the vibe as 'living in a movie set'.

Reality check

Winter guests noted the patio and pool area can get quite cold in the mornings and evenings.

  • You are planning a milestone birthday or family reunion
  • You want the safety of a hotel but the privacy of an Airbnb
  • You love authentic home-cooked food over fancy plating

Pulizia e manutenzione

Genio delle camere

Migliori scelte

  • Talitha Suite (1st Floor): The 'VIP' wing with a unique access door, 3 connected bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms—perfect for the family with kids.
  • Malika Room (1st Floor): Best for the 'power couple' of the group—private balcony and walk-in closet.

Camere da evitare

  • Fatima Room (Ground Floor): Convenient for accessibility, but lacks the privacy of upstairs rooms as it opens directly onto the pool/patio area.

Genio delle richieste camera – copia e incolla

Since we are booking the whole riad, could you please set up the Talitha Suite for the family with children and ensure the Malika Room is reserved for the primary couple?

FAQ e consigli nascosti

Tutto ciò che vuoi davvero sapere prima di prenotare.

Is it a hotel or a house?

It is a private rental with hotel services. You get the keys to the whole 7-bedroom house, but staff (maid, cook, guard) are there daily.

Is the pool heated?

No. It is a plunge pool that refreshes in summer but is decorative/freezing in winter.

Can we bring guests back?

Strictly no. Only registered guests are allowed inside for security reasons.

Is breakfast included?

Yes, a massive Moroccan spread (pancakes, breads, jams, eggs) is included daily.

How do we get there from the airport?

Book the transfer through the Riad. The driver calls the porter, who meets you with a cart for your bags. Do not try to find it yourself.

Is there a gym?

No. There is a 'Zen Area' for yoga, but no machines. Nearest gym is a taxi ride to Guéliz.

Suggerimenti degli Insider

  • Ask Bouchra to make her 'Rfissa' (chicken with lentils and fenugreek)—it's a dish you rarely find in restaurants.

  • The rooftop has a 'solarium' area that gets sun all day; claim your lounger early.

  • There is a night guard (Nourredine) who sleeps on-site, so you have 24/7 security.

5 cose da sapere prima di partire

  • 💡The 'Hammam' on-site is beautiful but costs extra to fire up and use.

  • 💡Wifi can be spotty in the thick-walled ground floor rooms; best signal is in the courtyard.

  • 💡You will hear the staff preparing breakfast in the courtyard around 7:30 AM if you sleep in the ground floor room.

  • 💡The 'suites' are not soundproofed from each other—if your friends fight, you'll hear it.

  • 💡It is located in a very local, non-touristy derb—you will see real life, not just souvenir shops, right outside the door.
