Videotur van @travellingthroughtrauma: I honestly think this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Paying under £50 for this level of luxury—huge pools, grand marble lobbies, and a room with a killer sunset view—felt like a robbery. It’s cheaper than a Travelodge back home!

A detailed review of The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam in Bangkok, highlighting its incredible value for money. I explore the grand reception area adorned with festive decorations before revealing the shocking price point—less than £50 per person per night, which rivals budget chains in the UK. The tour includes a look inside a Luxury Double Room featuring a massive bathtub, a spacious shower, and a 10/10 comfortable bed. I also capture the breathtaking sunset views that look like a fireball over the city. The review covers the massive daily buffet breakfast (noting the limited vegan options), the Chinese restaurant, and the grand staircases. I take you to the Oak Bar by the pool for snacks and show off the swimming facilities across both the Main and North Towers. Finally, I check out the 'boujee' restrooms with chandeliers and enjoy the nightlife at the outdoor bar with live music and free popcorn.

So I'm in Bangkok and let me tell you this is one of the best hotels I think I've ever been to. Look at the size of that reception. There was Christmas decorations everywhere. We were welcomed by the lovely staff. There was a concierge service. It was just incredible. Would you believe me if I said we paid less than 50 pound per person per night for this incredible 5 star hotel? That's literally less money than a Travelodge or a Premier Inn back home in England. We stayed in a luxury double room with this amazing bathtub, a really nice bathroom, a really big shower, you know how much I love my big showers. And there was the wardrobe with the robes, slippers, water, really nice telly and a 10 out of 10 comfortable bed. It was so good, had a great night sleep. And let me show you the view because the sunsets here were incredible. The sun literally looked like like a fireball. It was like bright red. It was so pretty. Look at that. A daily buffet breakfast was included in the price and it had all sorts of cold foods and hot foods. Not many vegan options but it was still really nice and it was absolutely massive. There was a Chinese restaurant as well as other places that you could pay for dinner. Take a look at these amazing grand staircases. Like they just look incredible. It was so festive and this bear as well is absolutely huge. This is the pool bar, I think it's called The Oak Bar and you can get little snacks and nibbles and drinks for the pool. This is the incredible pool. I spent so much time up here. It was honestly so nice. The hotel has two towers, the Main Tower where we stayed and the North Tower. And you could cross over and you could use both pools, different gyms and all the views were just absolutely incredible. Even the toilets were fancy. There was a chandelier, high rise ceilings and it was just very boujee. It felt very cool. There was an outside bar with live music every night where you could get cocktails and free popcorn as well as a bar by the pool where you could just sit and chill, listen to the music and look at the lovely lights. I honestly can't get over how good value and incredible this hotel...
