Ocean Resort Casino

$149-389/ noche

Reserva esto si You want the best floor-to-ceiling ocean views in Atlantic City and prefer a modern, club-heavy vibe over old-school casino kitsch.

Por qué a la gente le encanta

8.76162 reseñas
  • Floor-to-ceiling windows in every single room (no dark corners)
  • The Eclipse pool: a heated indoor-outdoor hybrid you can swim out into year-round
  • Amada: Jose Garces' tapas spot that actually lives up to the hype

Resumen rápido: A stunning glass tower that looks like a 5-star hotel but operates with the chaotic energy and hit-or-miss service of a 3-star casino.

Reseñado por @willianaashley: Finally checked this off my bucket list for a girls' trip! The ocean views from our room were insane, and having Topgolf and the club downstairs made the night so easy. If you're heading to AC, you have to stay here—it’s a total vibe.

Lo que dijeron los huéspedes que se hospedaron aquí

The hype

Guests are obsessed with the views and the 'Vegas-style' aesthetic but consistently frustrated by the elevators and housekeeping inconsistencies.

Reality check

You might find cigarette burns on the sheets or dust in the corners, even in a 'luxury' resort.

  • You live for the 'gram: the views and glass walkways are incredibly photogenic
  • You want a pool party vibe (HQ2 Beachclub) without leaving the property
  • You prefer a younger, higher-energy crowd than the older boardwalk casinos

Limpieza y Mantenimiento

7.2
  • Housekeeping: Inconsistent. Many reports of missed dusting, trash left from previous guests, or 'rush jobs' on weekends.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Generally good, but watch out for mold in the grout of the older showers and water spots on the glass.
  • Maintenance: The building is huge and hard to maintain. Expect scuffed hallways, chipped furniture, and the occasional broken elevator button.
  • Linens & towels: Standard hotel quality. Complaints about cigarette burns on sheets are worryingly common for a non-smoking property.
  • Odors & scents: Lobby smells amazing (signature scent), but hallways can smell like weed or stale smoke despite the ban.

Sleepability™

6.5MODERADO
MODERADO
0-4RUIDOSO
4-7.5MODERADO
7.5-10SILENCIOSO
  • Thin walls letting in hallway noise
  • Neighboring room TV/voices
  • Club bass on lower floors (weekends)

Antes de reservar

Es bueno saberlo

  • The lobby is on the 11th floor (Sky Lobby), not the ground floor.
  • Resort fee is ~$30+tax/night and includes WiFi and pool access.
  • You are at the far north end of the boardwalk; it's a long walk to Caesars or Tropicana.

Qué llevar

  • Bathing suit (year-round): The indoor/outdoor pool is heated.
  • Earplugs: Essential for weekend stays.
  • Walking shoes: The property is massive and vertical.

Genio de Habitaciones

Mejores opciones

  • Odd-numbered rooms: Face the Inlet/Brigantine (quieter, nature views)
  • BLU Rooms: These are the 'newest' rooms (finished later than the original tower) and feel fresher

Habitaciones a evitar

  • Even-numbered rooms on lower floors: Face the boardwalk/city (noisier)
  • Rooms near the elevator banks: High foot traffic and dinging sounds

Genio de Solicitud de Habitación – copiar y pegar

I would love to request an odd-numbered room facing the Inlet for a quieter stay. If available, a 'BLU' room on a higher floor would be appreciated.

Preguntas frecuentes y consejos ocultos

Todo lo que realmente quieres saber antes de reservar.

Is the pool open in winter?

Yes, the Eclipse pool is an indoor/outdoor hybrid heated to 82°F year-round. You can swim through a gate to the outside even in December.

Does the room have a fridge?

Yes, most rooms have a small refrigerator, but it's often full of minibar items or very small. No microwave.

Is there free parking?

Only for high-tier loyalty card holders (Prime/Reserve). Everyone else pays ~$15-25 per stay for self-park.

Can I bring my dog?

No. Ocean is strictly non-pet friendly. Service animals only (with paperwork), otherwise it's a $250 fine.

What is the 'BLU' room type?

BLU rooms are located on floors that were left unfinished when the building was 'Revel'. They were finished later by Ocean, so they are technically newer and often in better condition.

How far is the walk to Hard Rock?

It's about a 5-10 minute walk south on the boardwalk. Very doable.

Consejos de Insiders

  • Park on the 11th floor of the garage if you can—it connects directly to the hotel lobby check-in level.

  • The 'EZ' elevators are express cars that skip lower floors; use them to get to high floors faster.

  • Request a 'high floor, odd number' room for the best combination of view and quiet (Inlet side).

5 cosas que debes saber antes de ir

  • 💡The 'Vertical Trap': You have to take an escalator from the street to the casino, then an elevator to the lobby, then another elevator to your room.

  • 💡The 'Glass House' Effect: The floor-to-ceiling windows are amazing, but if you don't close the blackout shades, the sunrise will wake you up at 5:30 AM sharp.

  • 💡The Shower Peep Show: Some bathrooms have glass walls that make the shower visible from the bedroom area—awkward for friends sharing a room.

  • 💡The 'Unfinished' Floors: The resort was built in phases, so some 'new' rooms are actually just recently finished concrete shells from 2012.

  • 💡The Wind Tunnel: The entrance off the boardwalk can get incredibly windy due to the building's shape; hold onto your hat.
