Por qué a la gente le encanta

9.0108 reseñas
  • Sweeping high-desert views of the Cascade Mountains
  • Ranch Rovers (golf carts) make navigating the 1,800 acres fun
  • Adults-only sanctuary pool vs. massive family pool complex with slide

Resumen rápido: It's a 30-minute drive to civilization, so if you forget the milk or hate the on-site menu, you're in for a trek.

Reseñado por @codiscoordinatesI stayed in the new luxury bungalows at Brasada Ranch and it was the perfect winter escape. Waking up to snowy mountain views from bed was unreal, and my dog was obsessed with the open space. It’s rare to find a place this fancy that actually welcomes pets.

Lo que dijeron los huéspedes que se hospedaron aquí

The hype

Families love the cabins and pool slide; couples love the silence and sunsets.

Reality check

The on-site food is expensive and options are limited if you stay more than a few days.

  • You crave wide-open spaces and silence at night
  • You are a golfer or horse lover
  • You want a self-contained resort where you don't need to leave

Limpieza y Mantenimiento

9
  • Housekeeping: Generally excellent, though cabin service is every 3rd day. Some reports of missed spots under furniture.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Pristine. High marks for soaking tubs and showers.
  • Maintenance: Very good, though some older cabins show minor wear on decks/carpets.
  • Linens & towels: High quality, plush, and plentiful.
  • Odors & scents: Fresh sage and juniper outside; neutral and clean inside.

Antes de reservar

Es bueno saberlo

  • Resort fee is ~13.5% and covers the athletic center, pools, and wifi
  • Dog-friendly cabins are available for ~$30/night but must be booked in advance
  • Housekeeping in cabins is typically every 3rd day, not daily

Qué llevar

  • Groceries (serious haul from Trader Joe's/Safeway in Bend/Redmond)
  • Swimsuits for the year-round outdoor hot tubs
  • Layers (desert temps drop 30+ degrees at night)

Genio de Habitaciones

Mejores opciones

  • Cascade Bungalows (Adults Only) for modern design, sunken living rooms, and private hot tubs
  • Sage Canyon Cabins near the Athletic Center if you have kids and no golf cart

Habitaciones a evitar

  • Cabins far from the main lodge if you didn't rent a Ranch Rover (it's a long, hilly walk)
  • Cabins directly on the main road (minor traffic noise)

Genio de Solicitud de Habitación – copiar y pegar

I'd love a Sage Canyon Cabin with a view of the Three Sisters peaks, ideally set back from the road. If possible, a unit with a recently updated mattress would be appreciated.

Preguntas frecuentes y consejos ocultos

Todo lo que realmente quieres saber antes de reservar.

Is the pool open year-round?

Yes and no. The indoor pool and adults-only Cascade pool/hot tub are year-round. The big family pool with the slide and lazy river is seasonal (summer only).

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, in specific 'dog-friendly' cabins and bungalows for a fee. They are not allowed in the main Ranch House guestrooms.

How far is it from Bend?

About 25-30 minutes driving. It's not a quick hop for dinner.

Do I need a car?

Absolutely. The resort is spread out and remote. You cannot rely on shuttles or Uber.

Is there a kitchen in the room?

Cabins have full gourmet kitchens. Ranch House Suites and Guestrooms do not (just coffee/mini-fridge).

What is the 'Ranch Rover'?

It's a golf cart you can rent to zip around the property. Highly recommended, but they sell out weeks in advance.

Consejos de Insiders

  • Book a sunset horseback ride at the Equestrian Center—it's the best way to see the property.

  • If Range Restaurant is booked, order takeout from Ranch House and eat on your cabin deck; the view is the same.

  • The 'S'mores Kit' at the General Store is overpriced; bring your own marshmallows and chocolate.

5 cosas que debes saber antes de ir

  • 💡The stars are insane here—bring a telescope or binoculars.

  • 💡The 'lazy river' current is actually quite strong; little kids might need help.

  • 💡You might wake up to cows or deer staring into your patio door.

  • 💡Cell service can be spotty in certain canyons on the property.

  • 💡The tap water is high-desert pristine and tastes amazing.
