So while in Saint Maarten we stayed at the Morgan Resort and I honestly believe that it was hyped up but let's first get into the hotel and its positives now. The staff was great they were friendly of course the men were the most welcoming they're the ones that are more informative they will tell you where to go things to eat places to try so that was always very helpful. I like the fact that they have free airport shuttle but that would be crazy if they didn't because they're literally like five minutes from the airport. The pool was so beautiful so relaxing so calm it wasn't like it was like a flock of people there so that was really nice. And I like the fact that they had free valet because we got a rental car. And this hotel was close to everything it was close to the restaurants you could literally walk to the Maho beach and it was close to the nightlife. And as a woman travelling I did feel very SAFE at this hotel. Now back to my opinion I do truly believe that the Morgan Resort was hyped up and I feel like the people who has hyped up this hotel were either paid to do it because maybe they're influencers or they just don't have standards when it comes to accommodations or they just haven't lived yet. I don't know because the way this was hyped up on Tiktok it it doesn't add up. The hotel wasn't horrible I will say that but I do wish that I went with an Airbnb instead because I feel like I'll be paying half of the price at an Airbnb and get the same exact quality. There was one complimentary bottle of water per person during the entire stay we had a clogged sink for about two days with no help and on top of that the bathroom got a lot of precipitation after a shower so there were like droplets all over the walls even got on the toilet so I don't think the bathroom was well ventilated. Also the ceilings were not high like if I was to put my hand up I would literally hit the ceilings and the ceiling had like a lot of stuff on it like a lot of marks even the ceilings in the shower it was just it just felt dirty. I just felt like the room in general was not clean to my liking like even walking in I seen a hair on the toilet before anyone even used anything. I don't know like even though this is a hotel and someone was there before me I don't want to feel like someone was there before me. But overall I'll rate this hotel a 7 out of 10.
