Por qué a la gente le encanta

8.8447 reseñas
  • Stunning modern architecture that feels brand new (opened 2019)
  • Swim-up rooms that actually connect to a massive pool network
  • The 'Privilege' rooftop pool which offers the best sunset views on the island

Resumen rápido: A beautiful, gleaming white resort that suffers from its noisy neighbor (Hard Rock Hotel) and a location that gets aggressively windy.

Reseñado por @homtimisteI spent my days lounging at the Privilege rooftop pool and it was totally worth the upgrade. The vibe is so much calmer than the main pool, and watching the sunset over the ocean with a cocktail in hand was my favorite memory. Definitely book a Privilege room for this experience.

Lo que dijeron los huéspedes que se hospedaron aquí

The hype

Guests are blown away by the modern design and spacious rooms but frustrated by the slow check-in and 'cold' heated pools.

Reality check

The 'heated' pools often struggle to combat the wind chill, leading many guests to describe them as 'freezing' in winter months.

  • You love the 'brand new hotel' smell and hate dated carpets
  • You are a family who wants a splash park but also a sophisticated aesthetic
  • You plan to rent a car and explore, rather than just sit on the beach

Limpieza y Mantenimiento

9
  • Housekeeping: Daily and thorough. Guests consistently praise the 'spotless' modern rooms.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Immaculate. Modern grout and glass means no grime buildup.
  • Maintenance: Generally excellent, though some reports of bathroom doors not latching perfectly.
  • Linens & towels: Fresh, crisp, and high quality. No threadbare towels here.
  • Odors & scents: Fresh and neutral. No musty carpet smells because there are no carpets.

  • Wind howling through balcony doors

Antes de reservar

Es bueno saberlo

  • The 'Privilege' upgrade is the only way to get breakfast a la carte and access the wind-protected rooftop pool.
  • Men must wear long trousers for dinner in a la carte restaurants (strictly enforced).
  • Download the H10 app immediately upon booking to secure restaurant reservations before you even arrive.

Qué llevar

  • A light windbreaker or hoodie for evenings (the headland breeze is real)
  • Water shoes for the rocky shoreline directly in front of the hotel
  • European power adapter (Type C/F)

Genio de Habitaciones

Mejores opciones

  • Swim-up rooms in the inner blocks (protected from wind)
  • Privilege Junior Suites for the separate living area and rooftop access

Habitaciones a evitar

  • Any room facing the Hard Rock Hotel (Block 1/outer edge) unless you love techno
  • Ground floor rooms near the main walkways (privacy issues)

Genio de Solicitud de Habitación – copiar y pegar

I am a light sleeper and kindly request a room in the inner courtyard blocks, strictly facing AWAY from the Hard Rock Hotel. High floor preferred to minimize hallway noise.

Preguntas frecuentes y consejos ocultos

Todo lo que realmente quieres saber antes de reservar.

Is the pool actually heated?

Technically yes, but the strong winds on this headland strip the heat away quickly. In winter (Jan-Mar), many guests find them too cold to swim in.

Can I walk to the beach?

There is a small, rocky cove directly in front, but the nearest swimmable sandy beach (Playa El Pinque) is a 5-minute walk and is quite small/dark sand.

Is the Privilege package worth it?

Yes, mainly for the rooftop pool (which is less windy and crowded) and the exclusive a la carte breakfast, which beats the chaotic main buffet.

How bad is the noise from Hard Rock?

It varies from 'faint thumping' to 'concert in your room' depending on their event schedule. If you want total silence, this is not the hotel for you.

Is there parking?

Yes, there is an underground garage. It costs approx. €6/day, though some guests report finding free street parking nearby if they are lucky.

Are drinks included in Half Board?

No. Water and soft drinks at dinner are charged separately unless you are on the All-Inclusive plan.

Consejos de Insiders

  • Use the hotel's 'back gate' near the spa to access the small commercial strip of bars and mini-markets quickly.

  • The 'Circle Pool' is often quieter than the main infinity pool and less windy.

  • You can grab a free courtesy room for 30 minutes to shower if you have a late flight after checking out.

5 cosas que debes saber antes de ir

  • 💡The 'waterfall effect' inside the walls—you can hear your neighbors showering clearly.

  • 💡The wind tunnel effect in the open-air lobby can be intense.

  • 💡The 'beach' access is really just a gate to a rocky path; don't expect a Caribbean entry.

  • 💡You have to pay for water at dinner on Half Board plans (approx €3/bottle).

  • 💡The kids' splash park is fantastic but the water there is often the coldest in the resort.
