Hotel Ann Asakusa

$100-160/ gece

Şu durumda rezervasyon yapın You want a spotless, modern sanctuary that puts you 2 minutes from the Tsukuba Express but sleeps like a library.

İnsanlar Neden Seviyorlar

  • Immaculate cleanliness (consistently rated 9.0+)
  • Free amenities bar in the lobby with coffee, tea, and toiletries
  • Quiet residential vibe despite being 5 minutes from Senso-ji

Hızlı Özet: A textbook Japanese business hotel: clinically clean, extremely compact, and efficient to a fault.

@lewbiegoestoperth tarafından değerlendirildiI couldn't believe I found a spot this clean in Asakusa for only £87. The room is cozy, but the bed was perfect for crashing after exploring. I missed the bidet, but the location and those cute pajamas totally made up for it. A total budget win.

The hype

Travelers universally praise the location and hygiene, but often groan about the lack of floor space.

Reality check

The 'Skytree View' mentioned in some reviews is usually from the street outside, not your bed, unless you get very lucky.

  • You prioritize hygiene over square footage
  • You plan to be out exploring all day
  • You want a quiet night's sleep in a touristy area

Temizlik & Bakım

9.5
  • Housekeeping: Clinical. Daily cleaning is thorough, trash emptied, pajamas folded.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Immaculate. No grout mold, no stray hairs. The unit baths are plastic but sparkling.
  • Maintenance: Like new. Built in 2018 and maintained aggressively.
  • Linens & towels: Crisp, white, and fresh. Towels are standard hotel grade, not luxury plush.
  • Odors & scents: Neutral. No musty carpet smell, no cigarette smoke (strict non-smoking policy).

Rezervasyon yapmadan önce

Bilmeniz iyi olacak

  • The hotel uses the Tsukuba Express Asakusa station (2 min walk), NOT the Ginza Line Asakusa station (8-10 min walk). Know the difference.
  • Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out.
  • Accommodation tax (~¥100-200/person) is often collected at check-in.

Ne paketleyeceksiniz

  • Power strip (outlets can be scarce/ill-placed)
  • Your own pillow if you hate bean-bag style pillows
  • Slip-on shoes (you take them off at the room entrance)

Oda Cinisi

En iyi seçimler

  • Twin Room (slightly more breathing room than the Double)
  • High floor facing East (slight chance of Skytree glimpse)

Kaçınılması gereken odalar

  • Standard Single/Double on lower floors (can feel dark)
  • Rooms near the elevator (standard noise risk)

Oda Talep Cinisi – kopyala ve yapıştır

I am a light sleeper and would appreciate a quiet room on a high floor, away from the elevator. If possible, a room with a view towards the Skytree would be wonderful.

SSS & Gizli İpuçları

Rezervasyon yapmadan önce bilmeniz gereken her şey.

Is there breakfast?

Not really. They offer vouchers for a nearby Denny's. Do not buy this. Go to MISOJYU or February Cafe instead.

How far is the subway?

Tsukuba Express (A2 exit) is 2 mins away. Ginza Line (Tawaramachi station) is 5 mins away. Ginza Line (Asakusa station) is 10 mins.

Is there a gym?

No. Runners head to Sumida Park along the river (10 min jog).

Can I do laundry?

Yes, there are coin-operated washers and dryers on the ground floor.

Is it good for families?

Only if you book multiple rooms. The standard rooms are too small for a crib or extra bed.

Do the staff speak English?

Yes, generally very helpful and capable of basic to intermediate English communication.

İçeri Sakıları

  • The 'Amenities Bar' in the lobby has better stuff than the room—grab a razor, hairbrush, and tea bags before you go up.

  • There is a hidden 'barrier-free' room that is slightly larger; call to see if it's bookable if you have mobility issues.

  • The rooftop doesn't have a bar, but the street view from the hotel entrance at night offers a perfect, framed shot of the Skytree.

Gitmeden önce bilmeniz gereken 5 şey

  • 💡The 'Wa' concept means you are expected to take off your shoes at the room entryway (tatami style).

  • 💡The pillows are often the traditional Japanese 'bean' type—hard and small.

  • 💡The WiFi can be spotty in corner rooms during peak evening hours.

  • 💡You are actually closer to the kitchen supply town (Kappabashi) than the main temple gate.

  • 💡There is no view from most windows; you are likely looking at a neighboring building's wall.
