Siargao Bleu Resort And Spa

Buchen Sie dieses Hotel, wenn You want the biggest pool in Siargao and a safe, full-service resort experience that feels more 'hotel' than 'surf shack'.

Warum Gäste es lieben

6.54 Bewertungen
  • The massive 1,600 sqm man-made lagoon pool (biggest on the island)
  • Free use of kayaks and paddleboards right in the resort pool
  • Located near Cloud 9 surfing but just outside the main party noise zone

Kurzfassung: A solid, if slightly aging, resort where the 'floating' cottages don't actually float and the WiFi is a test of your patience.

Bewertet von @jhoneusebioI stayed at Siargao Bleu and it was the tropical reset I needed. The pool wrapping around the villas is even bigger in person, and having fresh coconuts delivered to my room was a highlight. The stone bathtub was my favorite spot to unwind after a day in the sun.

Was Gäste, die hier übernachtet haben, sagten

The hype

Families and groups love the huge pool and friendly 'butler' service, but couples often find it lacks privacy.

Reality check

The 'luxury' label is a stretch—expect wear and tear, ants in the room (it's the tropics), and a breakfast buffet that gets mixed reviews.

  • You are traveling with kids who need a massive pool to burn energy
  • You want a gym that actually has equipment (rare for Siargao)
  • You prefer a structured resort environment over a rustic surf hostel

Sauberkeit & Instandhaltung

8
  • Housekeeping: Daily service is generally good, though they sometimes miss sand in corners.
  • Bathroom hygiene: Clean surfaces, but watch out for broken fixtures or weak water pressure. Grout is usually decent.
  • Maintenance: Showing age (built 2015). Expect some peeling paint, rust on metal fixtures, or AC units that rattle.
  • Linens & towels: Fresh but can feel a bit worn/thin from heavy rotation.
  • Odors & scents: Generally fresh, occasional musty smell in ground floor rooms due to humidity.

  • Pool noise echoing into 'Floating' cottages
  • Thin walls between rooms (neighbors talking/TV)
  • Roosters (ubiquitous on the island) and early morning staff activity

Vor der Buchung

Gut zu wissen

  • Airport transfer is available but paid (~300 PHP/person for shared van, ~2000 PHP for private)
  • A 950 PHP charge applies for breakfast if your booking doesn't explicitly include it
  • The resort is 100% Filipino-owned, which gives it a distinct local hospitality vibe

Was Sie einpacken sollten

  • Reef-safe sunscreen (expensive on the island)
  • Dry bag for island hopping tours
  • Insect repellent (mosquitoes are real here)

Zimmer-Genie

Beste Auswahl

  • Terrace Rooms (2nd floor) for better privacy and a balcony view of the pool without the foot traffic
  • Garden Deluxe for a quieter, more secluded feel away from the main pool action

Zimmer, die Sie meiden sollten

  • Floating Cottages if you value privacy—you are essentially on display to the entire pool area

Zimmerwunsch-Genie – kopieren & einfügen

I would prefer a 2nd-floor Terrace room away from the main restaurant/bar area for better privacy and quiet. Please ensure the shower hot water is functional before check-in.

FAQ & Geheimtipps

Alles, was Sie vor der Buchung wirklich wissen möchten.

Do the Floating Cottages actually float?

No. They are built on stilts over the edge of the pool. They are stationary and connected to the main path.

Is the WiFi good enough for Zoom calls?

Absolutely not. It struggles even with emails. Go to a coworking space in General Luna if you need to work.

How far is the surfing?

Cloud 9 is about a 10-15 minute walk or a very short tricycle ride away.

Is there a gym?

Yes, and it's surprisingly decent for the island, with cardio machines and free weights.

Can I swim in the beach in front?

Technically yes, but it's very rocky and shallow. The massive pool is the main swim spot.

Is breakfast included?

Usually yes, but check your specific booking rate. It's a mix of Filipino and American options.

Insider-Tipps

  • The 'Butler Service' is assigned to you at check-in; get their WhatsApp number immediately for faster service than calling the front desk.

  • Walk 5 minutes down the road to 'Spot' for better coffee than the hotel serves.

  • Book the free kayaks early in the morning when the pool is empty for the best photos.

5 Dinge, die Sie wissen sollten, bevor Sie losfahren

  • 💡The 'ocean view' is often obstructed by the resort's own perimeter fence/vegetation.

  • 💡The shower pressure can be weak, and hot water is temperamental (sometimes non-existent).

  • 💡You might find ants in your room no matter how clean it is—it's nature, not neglect.

  • 💡The 'floating' bathtub in the cottages is cool but takes forever to fill.

  • 💡It hosts a lot of weddings/events, which can take over the pool area on weekends.
