No, it is a solar-powered lodge but the pool itself is generally unheated.
Is it safe to walk around?
Yes, unlike Big 5 reserves, you can walk, run, or cycle on the estate roads safely.
How is the wifi?
Excellent. Starlink/Fiber speeds (100+ Mbps) make it very work-friendly.
Do they have power during load shedding?
Yes, the lodge has solar and generator backup, so wifi and lights stay on.
